I'm a second-year biology student in Leeds and started tutoring AP Biology during lockdown. I like working with students who are juggling AP alongside A-levels, breaking topics like respiration and immunology into manageable chunks. We use a lot of diagrams, exam questions and quick quizzes so you feel ready for both multiple choice and FRQs. I’m friendly but quite honest about exam technique so you know exactly what to improve.

I’ve recently finished my MSc in Molecular Biology and now split my time between lab work in Cambridge and tutoring AP Biology online. I particularly enjoy genetics, evolution and anything data-analysis heavy. I’ve worked with students aiming for 5s as well as those just trying to pass, and I’m very happy to go slowly over core content if you’re rusty. I also support students with investigation design and practice FRQs where needed.

I’m based in Birmingham and specialise in AP Biology for students following US curricula from UK schools or online programmes. I’ve taught for 8 years, previously as a classroom teacher, and now focus on one-to-one tutoring. Cell communication, gene regulation and ecology are my favourite topics, and I place a lot of emphasis on exam wording and mark allocation. We regularly build revision notes together so long units feel manageable.
